Wixie achieves Level 4 interoperability score from Project Unicorn
Tech4Learning is pleased to announce that Wixie has achieved a Level 4 Interoperability score from Project Unicorn. Wixie is an app students use to explore the curriculum and demonstrate mastery through a combination of text, paint, images, voice, and video. Teachers use Wixie to manage and evaluate student work, providing real time feedback and evaluating student effort.

Project Unicorn's scoring rubric focuses on data quality and quantity, associated costs for importing or exporting data, the process and costs for exporting data, and how data is exchanged in real time. Vendors start with a self-evaluation to reflect, adjust practices, and develop the necessary artifacts, before submitting to the Project Unicorn Team.
"Achieving a Level 4 Interoperability score is a reflection of our commitment to providing a seamless digital platform for teachers," shares David Wagner, CEO of Tech4Learning. "Interoperability empowers educators to leverage Wixie's robust features alongside existing tech applications, eliminating barriers to adoption and maximizing its impact on student learning outcomes."
"From a teacher’s perspective, Wixie's interoperability makes it easy to connect instruction to Wixie and share assignments and customization with other educators," explains Danielle Abernethy, Partnership Manager for Tech4Learning. "From a student's perspective, Wixie's interoperability makes learning more personalized, since they are easily able to access tailored learning materials and submit their work in Wixie to their LMS with just one click."
